So many of us are experiencing life changing events in our lives right now. I am
hearing from people daily who are losing their homes, getting a divorce,
experiencing a death, losing a job, etc. Speaking from experience, these changes
are not easy.
Humans are creatures of habit. We enjoy our ruts. We are happy when things
remain the same. We do not like changes. We may hate our job, our mate, our
location, but we will fight to hold onto it with every ounce of our strength if
it becomes threatened. We do this to keep from experiencing change.
We will use all of our effort to resist change. We resist moving into new
territory. We resist doing what we know in our hearts we need to do. We will
attempt to do everything but what we know we are supposed to do.
What are you resisting? It is probably the very thing that you need to do to
progress on your path. We may know we need to leave the relationship we are in,
but we don't leave until things have gotten too bad to stay any longer. We hold
onto a dead end job until we are fired and have no choice.
Before we are born, we choose to have certain experiences in our lifetime. Our
soul knows that we have chosen that experience and that it may be a bit
difficult. Because of this soul memory, we resist stepping onto that path. We
continue to resist until things finally become so difficult for us that we have
no choice but to make the change.
Look at the areas where you are resisting. What is the thing that you are
resisting attempting to lead you to? Take a leap and land where you will end up
eventually anyway. Trust Spirit and your inner promptings. This is a lesson we
must learn for movement to the higher dimensions.
