Giving Thanks and The Law of Attraction One of the most important steps in the Law of Attraction is the expression of gratitude. The more we are able to express gratitude for the tiny things we manifest, the more things we are able to manifest. Too many times, we are so wrapped up in our thoughts about what we haven't manifested that we don't even notice the small things that we do manifest. You can be concentrating so hard on not having a mate to share your life with that you don't notice the good looking person checking you out with interest at the grocery store. Or, maybe you are worrying so much about not having money that you don't notice the $20 bill laying on the sidewalk. To successfully use the Law of Attraction, we must learn to show gratitude every moment of every day. When we awaken each morning, we can give thanks that we have been given another day of life. We can give thanks that we are able to get out of bed and stand on our own two feet. As we shower, we can give thanks for the warm water. We can give thanks for our food, for a safe commute to work, etc. If we go through our day with awareness, we can find many things that we can be grateful for. We can even be grateful for a confrontation with our boss, because it gave us an opportunity to practice coming from our heart. We can be grateful for a financial crisis because it gave us a chance to practice thriftiness. If we really look, we can always find something to be grateful for. And this act of being grateful will bring us even more wonderful things to be grateful for. Giving thanks is not just for Thanksgiving, but for every moment of every day. Question: I am a 41yo attractive woman, I have been single most of my adult life.  The men that I have had short term relationships with have left me.  I am confident I would be a great wife/mother, and wonder why I can't find the way to become this. Reading by Claudia: It is very important to remember that we create our reality with our thoughts, words and emotions. Everything that is happening to us today is the result of thoughts, words and emotions that we have had in the past. Let's look at what you are creating from what you wrote above - "men ... have left me", "I now despair that I will ever find a life partner and that I will never have a child", "I am desperately lonely", "I really am so desperate, lonely and afraid". You cannot have such thoughts and speak such words without creating that reality. I am sure that many times during the day you have similar thoughts. Every time you do, you are creating more of what you are focusing on. Instead of focusing on the negative aspects of your life, focus instead on the positive aspects of your life. Focus on friends, spend time with them doing things that are fun. Go out where you can meet people. Get involved in a group or class that interests you. If you focus on having fun, you are more apt to attract more friends. Burn pink candles to bring more love into your environment. Carry Rose Quartz or other pink stones with you or wear them as jewelry. Make a list of the qualities you are looking for in a mate and ask your Angels to find that person for you. Be sure to be open to meeting them when they show up instead of focusing too much on them not being there. I will again recommend the 'Feelings Prayer' to help heal the issues you have mentioned in your question. It is a very powerful self-healing technique which can be used to heal any issue you have.
