I had such a neat experience recently with
a Damselfly. A Damselfly is similar to a Dragonfly, but more
delicate.
We are in the middle of remodeling our house. One night, we
were putting sheetrock mud on the ceiling in one of the bedrooms and I had sat
down to take a break. The Damselfly flew in front of my face and then landed on
my stomach. It sat there for a few minutes with its wings spread out. Then it
folded its wings and settled in on my stomach. Thirty minutes later, it was
still sitting comfortably on my stomach, washing its face and antennae. I
finally had to switch my position and the Damselfly flew off. I was worried that
it would be harmed by the fans or lights, so I caught it and put it outside.
The Damselfly is connected with Fairies. We have a group of
Pixies who live in the house. They alternate between causing problems and
helping us. I guess it depends on what mood they are in. They hide things from
us, and then it will appear in plain sight when we least expect it.
Was this Damselfly one of the Pixies? Guess I will never know
for sure.
